Keystones 

There are seven carved stones located on the keystones of the entrance arches. The first stone shows a heptagram - the symbol of peace. Then there are a St. Andrews Cross, a rose, a thistle, a shamrock and a St. Georges Cross all representing the home nation combatants. Finally, a maple leaf is present for the Canadians who fought.
